Created and directed by Luiz Oscar Niemeyer, Planmusic is a company that belongs to the Traffic Group with over 23 years experience in producing the largest and most important artistic and corporate events and special projects in Brazil.
The company is responsible for Paul McCartney's current tour, "The Up and Coming Tour", attended by 28,000 people in Porto Alegre, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
It has produced and promoted the historic Rolling Stones? concert on Copacabana beach, which was attended by over 1.5 million people, and also the memorable concerts by Elton John and James Blunt, Beyoncé, Lily Allen and also U2, Coldplay and Radiohead.
On the national scene, it was in charge of the "SKY LIVE - 25 years of Rock", with Paralamas do Sucesso and Titãs, and "Brazilian Women (Mulheres Brasileiras)" projects, with Vanessa da Mata and guests. In 2010, Planmusic also produced the Caetano Veloso and Maria Gadú tours to the main Brazilian capital cities.
The historic concerts produced in the 1990?s are also noteworthy: Paul McCartney's first concert in Brazil, with an audience of 184 thousand people at Maracanã stadium. The event that is recorded in the Guinness Book of Records, as the largest audience of all times for a single artist?s concert, the "Human Rights Now" festival, with the presence of marquee names such as Sting, Peter Gabriel, Bruce Springsteen, Tracy Chapman and Youssou N'Dour; and Nirvana?s single concert in Brazil in 1994, during the Hollywood Rock festival.
